Front flap, Lash strip and binding: Italian top grain vegetable-tanned bridle leather 2-3mm thick on flap, skived for binding.

Zippers: Swiss made RiRi size 8 in matt black

Zipper pulls: Black KTL slider with bridle leather puller.

Buckles: 2 AustriAlpin Cobra prostyle 25mm female fix, male adjust, made from cast and post machined aluminium alloy, and a 50mm Cobra with female fix, male adjust.

Lining: Orange cotton drill, hand printed in a railway arch Deptford, South London on the last 25m tables in London.

Print: signature ‘crank print’, with a decaying geometric framework interlaced with bicycle parts and curios in custom orange.

Webbing: 50mm 11 bar seatbelt webbing on main strap, 25mm 5 bar webbing on tension straps, all traps have bridle leather keepers with a black rivet.

DYNEEMA X LEATHER

We opted for a selection of fabrics that a nomadic Bedouin turned Bladerunner might opt for in their tent’s exterior construction. Dyneema for the “outward” facing panels, for its weather resistance, unique look, and toughness.

And luscious Italian bridle leather for the front flap for stiffness, durability, and luxury. Then we added vegetable-tanned top-grain Italian leather for the interior of the shoulder strap, supple to touch, and a material that naturally shapes to the body over time. All while being tumbled to give a buttery pebbled texture and extra grip.

TIMELESS AND MINIMAL

Our favorite messenger silhouette of all time. Powerful yet reserved. Uniquely its own, without shouting about it. Clean and timeless. 

HIGH VIS / INTERNAL POP

How could we not choose the signature Bedouin printed lining? Heavy-duty cotton drill fabric from the UK, printed by hand under a repurposed railway arch turned into art studio, on the last 25-meter-long printmaking table in all of London. The lining has their “crank print” design by artist Zeke Wade, with a decaying geometric framework interlaced with bicycle parts and curios. But it had to be Carryology, too. So we added a bright high-vis orange into the mix to make it easy for one to locate items via bold contrast in low light environments, making the pocket’s contents visually jump out of the mysterious all black exterior.

COBRA CHARMER

Durability and a lifetime of use are pillars that Bedouin stands by, making AustriAlpin an easy choice for us. Utilizing the new PRO-Style 50mm Cobra buckle for the main strap and paired with two PRO-Style 25mm Cobra buckles to secure the top flap (and for that next level X-factor!).

RADICALLY STRONG POCKETING

You'll find a touch more Dyneema inside the main compartment, as internal organization sleeves for small items. We chose Dyneema for these pockets so they would remain tight for eons, rather than stretching out within years.

BEST-IN-CLASS WEATHER PROTECTION

An full unbroken panel of Dyneema composite for the flap, kicks even the heaviest of East London rains down to the curb. Also, you won't see any Gorby Gaps here, offering full coverage of the main compartment.

AND AN EXTRA DYNEEMA GIFT

We opted to include a little extra bonus with the purchase of every KHAN. Each one will include a Dyneema pouch for some additional modular organization. From the from the same black Dyneema fabric and lined with the same incredible orange printed liner, it also featured a blacked out grommet for attachment and the hardcore Swiss-made RiRi zipper to close it all up.
