Harvest Label Japan’s 25th Anniversary Giveaway

Harvest Label might not be a brand you’re aware of. But you should be. The flagship sub-brand of Harvest Corp, Harvest Label has been in the business of making high-quality carry for over two decades.

Introduced in 1996, the FLYER’s series is one of Harvest Label’s most iconic series. Created by former Porter Tanker designer Koichi Yamaguchi (who teamed up with Harvest Corp to co-found Harvest Label), the series fused military vibes with everyday style. Produced in small batches by master craftsmen, the extremely popular series sold out quickly. However, due to high production costs and difficulties in producing the bags in larger batches, the series was ended after a few years.

However, fans have continued to request the series be brought back, and thanks to a significant milestone they’ve finally gotten their wish. Harvest Label is celebrating its 25th anniversary. And what better way to do so than to re-release two styles from the FLYER’s series for a limited production run.

The Prize

One lucky winner will score their choice of bag from the re-released FLYER series.

The two styles are similar in design, though the larger HJH-4008_R fits A4 documents and the smaller HJH-4009_R fits A5 items. Both bags feature front and rear zippered compartments, offering convenient organization for EDC or work tools as well as bulkier items. And when it’s time to take flight, these pieces work equally well as travel companions.

The series is inspired by the US military MA-1 bomber flight jacket and features a custom-made nylon twill bonded fabric in three colorways. Additionally, a metal plate in the carry handle provides structure for the bags, which also come with a removable shoulder strap.

The limited production run will be supervised by the same master craftsman who was part of the original production run over twenty years ago. The bags will be expertly crafted in the brand’s own factory in Osaka, with delivery to begin in April 2020.

Note: If you don’t win (or want to guarantee getting hold of one of the bags), you can still pre-order these bags. Pre-ordering will run until 29 February 2020, and the brand is not planning to reproduce these styles again. Online orders are made through Harvest Corp’s website (primarily in Japanese).
